Wildpaths Walk Friday - in Fletcher

Past event
Sep 23, 2016, 10 AM to 12 PM

This month in Fletcher, we'll be walking Metcalf Pond Road which should make for an amazing morning! With a series of ponds, beaver meadows and large forest blocks on either side of the road, it's no wonder this has been identified as a crossing site.

WHEN: Friday, September 23rd from 10 am to Noon

WHERE: Meet at small parking area across from Scott Road near Metcalf Pond

WildPaths is an opportunity for community members to help gather much needed data on where wild animals are crossing our roads; both successfully and unsuccessfully. We’ll walk one of the many wildlife crossing sites identified by the state looking for signs of animals and roadkill. Find out how the WildPaths Project will help inform decision making when it comes to wildlife and transportation. Participants will learn how to share random observations or how to Adopt a Roadway for the project.

This walk is FREE and open to all.

Please send an email to wildpaths@coldhollowtocanada.org with questions and to register.
