NEW! Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors NEW!
Stymied by a refusal to bathe? Or, by repeated question like “When can I go home?” from someone sitting in the home he’s lived in for 40 years? During dementia’s middle stage, the person with the disease starts to exhibit new behaviors that can confuse caregivers. To help caregivers decode conduct and determine how best to respond, the Council on Aging offers this important Alzheimer’s Association training workshop. Learn to recognize common triggers for actions associated with dementia and strategies to address those behaviors. Facilitated by Pam Smith.
Wednesday, September 28, 6-8 p.m.
Community Room of Primary Care Building at NCH, Newport
