Honey treats and creative face painting at the Market this week!
Our featured vendor this week doesn’t fit into just one category; he has a little bit of everything! Stop by Bee Happy VT to load up on all kinds of honey products, including honey cream, mead, honey comb, pistoli, toasted walnuts in honey, beeswax candles, honey lemonade and, of course, honey!
Farmers this week will be bringing out all their usual great variety and new fall products, including tomatoes, peppers, winter squash, dandelion greens, kale, kimchi, fresh baby ginger, sweet corn, fall raspberries, sweet potatoes, pickles, corn relish, applesauce. Last Resort farm will have special prices on 5# to 25# bags of sweet potatoes, onions, beets, and potatoes and on bushels of corn. Stock up for winter! You will definitely be able to tell that fall is here when perusing our baked goods this week! We’ll have apple crisp sweetened only with maple syrup and topped with cinnamon whipped cream, maple cookies, burger buns, ciabatta, baguettes and other breads, sweet fruit pies, traditional and bourbon maple syrup and maple candies.
Crafters will be bringing handmade woodcrafts including bottle openers and original frame topper decorations, or you can relax with a chair massage and pick up a lavender scented eye pillows, and fun sock creations for the kids!
For dinner while you’re enjoying the tunes, all your favorites will be there. Bureks and sesame noodles, authentic Mexican tamales and burritos, freshly made wood fired pizza, savory veggie and meat pies and many flavors of organic popcorn!
Bring the kids (or yourself!) to the face painting stand to get a fun and creative design by our talented volunteer artist! Donations welcome!
The Bellcate School will be selling the Vermont ‘Buy Local’ coupon books to fundraise for the school, and stop by our youth vendor for some tasty guacamole!
Music this week is being sponsored by Bolton Valley, that’s right, it’s already time to think about skiing again! The Umbels, was formed last year by two students at UVM, and you’ll get to hear them play a mix of originals and covers.
