The Salisbury Free Public Library was one of only six rural libraries in Vermont to receive the Rural Libraries Grant from the Children's Literacy Foundation (CLiF.) Duncan McDougall, Executive Director, will give a lively storytelling presentation to students, teachers and parents at the Salisbury Community School on Monday, Sept. 26th at 8:00 AM. The brand new children's books ($2,000 worth) will be available to patrons at the public library on Sept. 27th. Our library hours are 2-5 pm on Tuesday and Thursday and 9-12 on Saturday. Also, an additional $500 worth of new children's books will be given to the school library as part of this grant. CLiF is an amazing organization making a tremendous impact. Since 1998, they have reached more than 180,000 children and donated over $4 million worth of books in over 400 towns in New Hampshire and Vermont.
