On Thursday at the Richmond Free Library, Dan Bean will tell the story of the orphan train that transported his father to Enosburg, Vermont in 1905. How did a young child feel about traveling to an unknown place and becoming part of a family of people who were strangers? Come and find out about this orphan train and the others that carried children into the unknown in all parts of the U.S. Dan Bean is a retired St. Michael's College professor.
