It's almost here!...
The North Hero Town Office is once again hosting a flu clinic for our local community. The Flu Vaccination Clinic will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 8-10:00am in the North Hero Town Office Meeting Room. Kinney Drugs will be administering the vaccines. This year’s vaccine is the trivalent flu vaccine which is designed to protect against three different flu viruses; two influenza A viruses and one influenza B virus. Also available will be a high-dose trivalent vaccine for those over 65 years of age.
To receive your flu shot, simply come to the above location during the scheduled clinic time.
BCBS of Vermont, Express Scripts, MVP & Medicaid coverage accepted. For those over 65 years old, please bring the Medicare Part B Card (it's the red, white, and blue Medicare card). As long as the deductible is met, this card will fully cover the cost of the high-dose vaccine.
If you do not have insurance coverage, or the insurance will not cover your vaccine, each shot is available for only $25.
