During the 2 Open Studio weekends Oct 1-2 and Oct 8-9 I will be demonstrating how to use stone carving hand tools. There will be an opportunity to try the tools on different kinds of stone. Should one feel compelled to learn how to carve I can provide individual or group lessons. Many of my carvings will be displayed.
Come by and take a swing at a stone like the marble workers who carved statues in Rutland that are now displayed around the world.
