This message supersedes the previous one about the speaker for this Wednesday's Osher Lifelong Learning program at the Aldrich Library in Barre. On Wednesday, October, 23, Emily Kaminsky, funding owner and lead organizer of the Granite City Cooperative, will speak about the joys, trials, and rewards, of starting a food co-op. Lectures begin at 1:30 PM and are preceded by a brown-bag lunch from 12:30 on for those interested in coming early. Osher is a volunteer-run organization providing programs on topics of general interest for lifelong learners. All lectures are open to the public.
