Gypsy Reel Will Rock the Firehouse With Celtic Song Again
Gypsy Reel is back at Old Firehouse in Tinmouth on Friday September 23rd at 7.30pm. This little old grange hall with great acoustics is a lovely setting for the Celt band that rocks. They have excited audiences all over the US and Canada, but nobody loves them like the Firehouse folks.
Gypsy Reel has been together for over 30 years but, for the first time in 20 years, they will be using a new rhythm section. Joining Graham (fiddle & vocals), Claudine (banjo, mandolin, guitar & vocals) and Camille (mandolin, bodhran & vocals), will be Reagh Greenleaf on percussion and vocals and Silas Hamilton on Standup Bass. Silas is a multi instrumental musical prodigy and Reagh is a great shanty singer who has toured the world with the famous Clancy band. Playing original, traditional and the occasional more modern surprise, Gypsy Reel will have your feet tapping and your soul soaring.
Gypsy Reel is the second concert in the Tinmouth Old Firehouse Fall series, on Friday September 23 at 7:30 PM.
The Old Firehouse is at Mountain View Road and Vt. 140 in downtown Tinmouth. Doors will open at 7 PM. There is a suggested donation of $10 to $15, 90% of which goes to the performers. Home made desserts, coffee and tea will be available. Donations for them will help support community activities.
