Book Study
You are invited to join a book study of The Road to Character by David Brooks led by Rev. Deborah McKinley, pastor of East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church. In the book Brooks uses analysis of the lives of many distinguished people to challenge the reader to rebalance the scales between “resume virtues” and “eulogy virtues”, between qualities that lead to worldly success and those values that give deeper meaning to life.
The group will meet 6-8PM for 6 Sundays, starting September 25 at the home of Rev. McKinley next door to the church at 1097 Ketchum Hill Road, Craftsbury. A light pot luck dinner will precede the discussion. Books are available at the Galaxy Book Store for $15 or at a local library.
