The Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance will hold a household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dorset School, 130 School Drive in Dorset, VT. The event is free for residents of the towns of Arlington, Bennington, Dorset, Glastenbury, Manchester, Pownal, Rupert, Sandgate, Searsburg, Shaftsbury, Stamford, Sunderland and Woodford and the Villages of Old Bennington, North Bennington and Manchester. Small businesses from those towns and villages may also bring materials but must pre-pay for the cost of disposal and must register by September 23rd.
