Border Board Games is a local tabletop gaming group that meets every 3rd Saturday of each month at the Derby Line Village Hall to play board games. Every October, Border Board Games celebrates Halloween by playing horror and monster themed board games. These games take themes from horror movies and turns them into a board game.

This includes games like ‘Arkham Horror’ where players play investigators that are trying to save the town of Arkham from a horrible monster from awakening. We’ll also have ‘Zombicide’ where players play stereotypical characters from a B-rate zombie movie where you try to survive a horde of zombies. Or, ‘Castle Ravenloft’, a Dungeons and Dragons themed board game where players play heroes who are trying to thwart the advance of evil.

Most of the horror and monster themed games are cooperative which means players play together to beat the game. These games provide compelling themes with surprisingly simple game play. Everyone is welcome to attend and this is great for ages 10 to adult.
