DIRECT DEMOCRACY: Come hear the Rutland Bennington District House candidates debate on September 29 in Pawlet!

On September 29, Vermont Representative, Robin Chesnut-Tangerman, and challenger, Jonas Rosenthal, will square off on the political issues that impact Rupert, Tinmouth, Wells, Middletown Springs and Pawlet.
District officials have been invited to submit debate questions through their town’s select board. Questions will be organized by topic and questions selected so that each town is represented. There will also be an opportunity for district voters to ask questions from the floor. John Thrasher, Esquire, of Rupert will serve as Moderator.
The debate will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at the Pawlet Fire House located on Route 133 in the Village of Pawlet. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the debate commencing at 6:30 pm. For information, call Dolores Luebke, Organizer, (802) 645-0109.
