Traveling Puppeteers Stopping in Craftsbury!

Past event
Sep 16, 2016, 6:30 to 8 PM

Join The Art House as we welcome the puppetry & music group West of Roan!
This Friday - 6:30 pm in the Craftsbury Masonic Hall
West of Roan has been on a New England tour this Summer...by BICYCLE...and they are stopping in Craftsbury!!
Join us for their ephemeral & moving live puppet show The Sealskin.
The Sealskin is the story of the son of a fisherman and a seal-woman; a boy born of two worlds and at home in neither. This original story is inspired by old Irish myths and legends of the Seal People, told with puppetry, song, and shadows.
Fun for the young and...not so young!

West of Roan artists Annie Schermer and Channing Showalter combine whimsical puppets, the elements of light and shadow, and harmonies of voice and fiddle to tell stories that explore the human relationship to home and the wild self. Originally from the western shores of Washington State, Annie and Channing now live in Southern Appalachia. www.westofroan.com
