Come on out Vermont! Let’s throw down homelessness together! Presented by VSECU, the BTV Airport and ANEW Place have joined forces to host the Rock Paper Scissors (RPS) Tournament Challenge. And it is already the talk of the town. This event draws the community together for some laughter, fun, and friendly competition all to raise money for ANEW Place, local homeless shelter that creates long-term solutions for homeless men and women to be transformed and start anew.
The event takes place on Wednesday, September 21st at the Burlington International Airport. Door registration begins at 6pm and will close by 6:20pm. Dueling begins at 6:30pm. Competitors can play as an individual or compete as part of a team. This awesome event features tournament brackets, the opportunity to buy extra lives, team costumes are encouraged, and some hilarious competition! Food provided by Skinny Pancake, raffle prizes to be won, and a cash bar to enjoy! Grand prize for the champion will be a $500 Visa Gift Card.
Register for $15 before 6pm on September 19th to get a spot in the competition. Otherwise, at the door registration is $20. Secure your coveted spot in the tournament and purchase your ticket at www.anewplacevt.org/rps. Extra lives will be available for purchase for when you get lost in the “throws” of the competition.
