Help The Traveling School students raise money to bring running water to the mountain village of Ocutan, Peru.
"I recently spent time in Peru with a semester abroad program called The Traveling School, where I was lucky enough to spend two weeks learning from a shaman in the Andes mountains. He took us to where his family lived, the village of Ocutan, where we spent time harvesting potatoes and learning to cook them in dirt ovens that we built. Afterwards we wanted to give something back to our teacher and the villagers. In many of their houses there was no running water and the women walked miles to the river every day to get water for their families and livestock. A few years ago a well was put in but there was not enough funding to complete the project so we decided to try to raise the money to put the water system in."
