Twiggs Restaurant will host "TNT Comedy Thursdays", a monthly comedy open mic and showcase., starting on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7 pm. "We want to bring the feel of big city comedy to downtown St. Albans," said Comedian Suzan Ambrose, host of the open mic component and Fairfield resident." St. Albans is growing faster every day and the community is yearning for something like this. We hope to give them exactly what they're looking for: an opportunity to laugh, relax and meet new friends who enjoy doing that as well."

September's showcase stars Comedian Tracy Dolan as the headliner for this month, as well as King Mecca and Beth Norton.
"We hope to give the community and opportunity, a chance to realize how fun stand up can be," said Tom Murphy, proprietor of Twiggs. "Come on down, try a few of your best jokes, and laugh. Laughter is the best medicine."
