Moretown filmmaker Bryce Douglass will be presenting his film "Gold and Green" at the Richmond Free Library on Thursday, September 22nd at 5.30pm. MMCTV was an in-kind sponsor of this moving documentary about the stunning and thought-provoking mural by artist Sarah-Lee Terrat at the new State of Vermont complex in Waterbury. "Gold and Green" traces the history of the Vermont State Hospital, the patient that wrote the poem that provided the inspiration for the mural that is the focal point of the lobby in the Human Services building. The story looks at the historical and emotional content of the mural as well as the technical process behind the artistic endeavor. The screening is free, with a Q&A with the artist and filmmaker.
