Salad in a Jar Workshop Sept. 19

Is your garden abundant with harvest? Come and join the salad in a jar workshop at Bridgeside Books.

Participants will need to bring 4 cups of two luscious ingredients, and 4 mason jars ( quart size widemouth are best)

suggestions for ingredients are -

Greens (Spinach, lettuces, kale, chard, purple cabbage, herbs),
Grated roots (carrots, beets, radishes)
Chopped Celery
Chopped Grape or Cherry Tomato
Chopped Onions- White, Red or Green
Chopped Cucumbers Zucchini (grated, chunks, or grilled) Sprouts Chopped Bell Peppers
Berries (black,blue,rasp,straw)
Potatoes(boiled and cubed)
Cooked quinoa, Cooked brown or wild rice
Frozen edamame, peas or corn Canned or cooked
Beans (edamame, chickpeas, black beans,kidney, etc.) Steamed or raw chopped broccoli or cauliflower Grilled
veggies(zuke,eggplant,peppers) Sweetpotato cubes Nuts and seeds Raisins,
cranberries, or other dried fruit
