Girls on the Run Vermont is hosting its first benefit entitled, “Heart, Sole…& Laughter!” on September 23, 2016 at the FlynnSpace in Burlington. This event will be headlined by local comedy troupe, The Vermont Comedy Divas! The event is a fundraiser for GOTRVT’s Every Girl Fund, the organization’s main initiative to ensure that every girl in the program may receive financial assistance if needed.
In addition to the comedy show, attendees will have an opportunity to win several on-site raffle items donated by numerous local businesses who support the GOTRVT mission. Each raffle offers a different theme such as “Relax & Recharge: Spa Basket,” “A Taste of Shelburne: Dining Basket,” “Healthy & Strong: Fitness Basket,” and are valued at up to $500.
Standard and VIP tickets are available through the Flynn Box Office. VIP tickets guarantee entry to an exclusive post-show party across the street at Mad River Distillers. Through a unique partnership with Bristol artisan ice cream shop, lu.lu, Mad River will be creating surprise custom cocktails available for purchase at the after-party.
