The Lake Bomoseen Association is holding its last social of the summer on Thursday, September 22, from 5 to 7:30 pm at Woodard's Marine Showroom on Rt. 4A in Hydeville. Chili and tableware are provided by the committee and this year we are having a chili cook-off, so our guests get to vote on the best chili by placing a token amount in a cup in front of the chili they like. Friends, members and lake neighbors are all invited to come at no charge, except for voting. Bring your own beverage and a salad, corn bread or dessert to share. It's not too late to pay your LBA membership dues and donations are welcome to the Lake Bomoseen Preservation Trust (LBPT). Perk cards and decals will be handed out to members who have not yet received theirs. Information will also be given out on our wine pairing dinner fund raiser being held at the Lake House on October 11. We look forward to seeing you there.
