Cartooning with Robert W. Brunelle

Have you ever wished you could draw cartoons or create your own comic strip? Come to our cartooning class and learn the art of cartooning!

When:Saturday, September 17, 1 - 4 pm
Where: Sheldon Municipal Library, 1640 Main St. Sheldon VT
This event is FREE and open to the public.
Ages 15-Adult. No prior experience needed. All materials provided.
Sign up required.

In this class students will learn the basics of cartooning. Topics covered will include: Designing a cartoon character, drawing the character in various poses, setting up panels for comic strips or comic books, adding speech balloons and sound effects, inking and coloring a finished cartoon, and using a digital tablet to draw cartoons on a computer. 
Robert Waldo Brunelle Jr is the author of the political cartoon strip Mr. Brunelle Explains It All, which appears in Seven Days, Funny Times and Humor Times. He taught cartooning for 31 years as the art teacher at the Browns River Middle School in Underhill.
