We very much need people to volunteer to cook for a Friday Food Affair evening. Richard has been carrying the load almost all summer by himself. We need others to help.
We can make this process quite easy. All you need to do is buy ingredients (for which you will be reimbursed) and prepare dinner either at home or using the church's extensive facilities. We will take care of setting up tables and chairs, dishwashing and all other tasks.
FFA it Is now beginning its seventh year of operation. Please help support this great community event. You can sign up here: http://65.23.157.7/cgi-bin/pulse.cgi?ffa_mainsheet or contact us at fridayfoodaffair@gmail.com
Here's the menu for this week:
- Baked fish topped with sauteed onions & peppers, covered with melted cheese
- French fries
- Desserts
Bring family and friends... the more, the better! Downtown Richmond at the Congregational Church. Come in anytime during this 2-hour affair from 5-7 PM tomorow.
People ask us how much they should donate. We recommend $3 - $4 per person, more if you can afford it. We are experiencing increased costs, and more donations will help a great deal. That said, if money is tight for you, no need to donate anything!
Also.... Take advantage of the opportunity to "throw a party" (for your friends and the greater community) without having to deal with setup, cleanup or cost. Visit our web site at http://fridayfoodaffair.com for all the information you need about this event. Check out the videos as well.
