Compost Alive!

Come help Master Composter Laurie DiCesare mix up a batch of sweet-smelling compost.
We’ll talk about several methods (piles, bins, tumblers, worms…); what to include / exclude; mixing “Greens and Browns” ; natural compost accelerators; cures for “compost gone wrong”; and what you can do with the “Black Gold” you produce. Your banana peels, coffee grounds, dried eggshells and other compostable donations would be appreciated…or just come watch.

Participants will receive a Basic Composting hand-out…and maybe an eco-friendly door prize.
