Just a reminder, there will be a bike/sewing machine collection at Paul’s Car Wash on Main Street in Fairfax and at Ascension Church on Rt. 7 in Georgia this Saturday, Sept. 10th from 9 AM to 1 PM. We are collecting used and unwanted bikes in reasonable condition and sewing machines in working condition. They will be shipped to poor and needy people in third world countries through “Pedals for Progress”. We ask for a $10 donation with each bike/sewing machine to help defray the tremendous cost of shipping. No bike, monetary donations are always welcome. All donations are tax deductible.
