Food for Fuel & More

The Vergennes Congregational Church is set to host its third annual Food for Fuel Aid and More event. On Saturday, September 10, between 11:00 to 1:00, the City Green will be buzzing. Grilled by Vergennes Lions Club volunteers, hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers are on the menu, along with all the fixins. This year the event will be bigger than ever to help raise money for fuel, electricity, rent and more for our neighbors and friends in Addison County who need assistance. New attractions include an Amish and a baby quilt raffle, 50/50 chance, as well as lots of activities for families, with prizes for everyone. To further help the cause, chrysanthemums from Ferrisburgh’s Bill Scott will be for sale. Donations are welcome and are tax deductible. For more information call 877-2435.
