Tasty breads and traditional tunes at the market this week!
Our Featured Vendor this week, O Bread Bakery, will be bringing their wide selection of breads and rolls….
Now that you have an idea of what loaf you’ll have to get, here’s what you can get from the farmers to complete your sandwich! We’ll have bacon, chicken, lamb sausage, dandelion greens, garlic braids, hot peppers, new potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet corn, fennel, tomatillo, sweet peppers, herb bunches, ginger, seasonal berries and melons.
For dinner at the market this week, we’ll have all the old standbys, delicious and fresh wood fired pizza, authentic Mexican tamales and tacos, savory veggie and meat pies, bureks, herbaceous blend and other flavored popcorns and soft pretzels, or full frozen pizzas to take home for a late dinner. For dessert you’ll find sweet fruit handpies, maple butter fudge and maple cookies, pistoli and maple candies.
We’ll also have plenty of sweet and spicy things that come in a jar for you to take home! Honey, traditional and bourbon maple syrup, kimchi, maple bread and butter pickles, mustard, ketchup and chili sauce.
Our crafters this week will be filling the air with sweetness, bringing their beeswax candles, handmade soaps and lotions, scented eye pillows and relaxing chair massages.
Cooie DeFrancesco will be taking the stage at 5:00. Cooie’s clear and vibrant vocal stylings bring lyrics to life, whether she’s singing traditional tunes, popular songs, or originals. Her beautiful, tone perfect, soulful voice brings new life to both traditional and popular songs, and her music encompasses a dollop of blues, a touch of jazz, a bit of folk and some old time rock n' roll.
