The Mad Quilters begin the new year with the first meeting scheduled September 13th, 6:30 p.m. at Harwood High School. The group welcomes new or experienced quilters who can enjoy the comradeship of other quilters. Activities include block of the month, demos, and show and tell (members sharing their quilts) or other sewing projects. In the past, members have sewn pillowcases for charity projects, completed quilts for flood victims, and have participated in round robin projects. Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. For more information, call 496-2035.
