Hello Folks,
The fall session of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) will begin next week, on Wednesday, September 14. Our talks are always on Wednesday, always at 1:30 to about 3:00 (except the films), sometimes in Montpelier, sometimes in Barre. For those of you who are not familiar with OLLI, it is a nationwide organization which offers seniors (although anyone of any age is welcome to participate) weekly lectures on various topics. In Vermont, we have 8 OLLI chapters, with the main office situated at UVM in Burlington. I will list our program below. Folks are welcome to become a member or to just come to any of the talks that interest you. Membership is $40 ($20 for first-time members). Individual talks are at $5 suggested donation. For more information, email me, call 479-2602, or go to: www.learn.uvm.edu/osher.
