Mark your calendars -- Hyde Park Home Day is happening September 17th! There will be so many fun things to see and do...it is a great family event and a wonderful way to spend quality time with friends and neighbors. A parade down Main Street will begin at 12noon (led by "Vermont Dairy Farm of the Year" and Grand Marshals of this year's parade, the Lanphear family!) followed by activities all around town...fill up on delicious eats from our food vendors, sip some complimentary tea in the Tea Tent, enter the raffle to win a wide variety of fantastic prizes, stop by the library to help celebrate its 100th anniversary (and meet some very important Mo Willems book characters!), enjoy great live music, and more!

Also, a unique and exciting offering this year -- a DIY apple cider station! Bring your spare apples and a jug/bottle and make your own cider with the help of the Wickendens and their very own cider press! This will be a fun hands-on activity for the little ones and a nice way to usher in the fall season. (A huge thank you to Michael and Linda for volunteering your guidance and cider press to make this activity possible!)
