Green Mountain Performing Arts in Waterbury is offering two amazing workshops in Celtic Rhythms for anyone with percussive dance experience/interest (Irish hard shoe, Scottish/Cape Breton Step, Sean Nos, tap, etc.) .Healther Morrics of the School of Celtic Dance is leading the workshops. Fun!
OCTOBER 25 and 26

WORKSHOPS: FRIDAY OCTOBER 25

3:15pm - 4:00pm - Rhythm and Musicality
We will explore different types of hard shoe dances - jigs - hornpipes - reels.
Through listening and moving, learn about the feel of those tunes
and how traditional steps fit them.

4:00 - 5:15pm - Old - Style traditional step dancing
Learn steps from the old dancing masters in the older style of lyrical, musical
and close to the floor.

Cost: $15.00 per workshop
$25 for both
