The Horace Greeley Writers' Symposium is a celebration of Horace Greeley's life. The symposium explores the art of writing as presented by publishers and writers in the fields of literature, poetry, philosophy, and history.
This year’s keynote speaker is David Elliott, the author of many picture books and novels for young people, including The New York Times bestselling And Here’s to You! Featured presenters are Hope Ferguson, freelance writer; David Mook, writer and poet; Jean Yeager, blogger and tweeter.
The Symposium is a dynamic day of learning and nurturing for writers of all ages, experience levels, and genres. This event draws writers and authors from across New York and New England to Poultney every year.
