Please join us for a community BBQ potluck party Friday, September 2nd from 4-7pm! The BBQ will be held in Montpelier at Hubbard Park in the new shelter (from Montpelier: take Summer St. off from Elm St. and merge onto Parkway St. which leads up to the shelter)
Our intention with this event is re-gather as a group, hear about up-coming events and some shifts in our central VT SURJ chapter's structure, invite new folks to learn more about Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) and get involved, as well as create a fun non-meetingy space for us to socialize, chat and have a great meal together!
Please bring a potluck dish to share (clearly labeled!), your own eating vessel/utensil, a folding chair or blanket (if you would like) and excitement to talk about anti-racist organizing in Vermont. Kids welcome! Friendly dogs welcome! Everyone welcome!
