The National Wild Turkey Federation in conjunction with the US Forest Service, is hosting a workshop on Woodlot and Habitat Management for Landowners. Numerous workshop partners will be on hand to discuss opportunities for managing your property or woodlot for wildlife, quality timber production, and aesthetic values. Come learn about some of the different tools, resources, and assistance programs that are available to landowners who want to actively manage their property. Partners on hand will include Vermont Coverts, Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Vermont Audubon, Vermont Department of Forest Parks and Recreation and the Vermont Woodlands Association.

The workshop will held at the Stockbridge Meeting House, 97 Maplewood Drive-Common Road in Stockbridge and will include a field tour of a nearby woodlot. 9 AM to 1 PM. Rain or shine. Please contact Matt DiBona 302-943-3239 or mdibona@nwtf.net for more information.
