Spend the day learning to carve your own wooden spoon & about woodworking with artist, writer and visionary Peter Forbes and designer, builder & master-craftsman Greg Ryan. In this workshop you will learn to design, carve, and finish yourown hardwood spoon. A shaving horse is a very useful combination vice and workbench that has been a mainstay of woodworkers for hundreds of years. We’ll explore different types of shaving horses and the tools used with them, including draw knives and spokeshaves. Simple plans will be provided.
