Giving birth and motherhood are perfect opportunities for reflection, transformation, and growth. Main Street Doula is pleased to host a Birth Passage Empowerment Group on Thursday, September 15 from 9 - 10 AM. The group is facilitated by birth psychologist and doula, Shaina Levee, M.A., at 19 North Main St., Waterbury.
Birth Passage groups are 100% focused on self-empowerment through birth and motherhood. All mamas, expecting mamas, and babes-in-arms are welcome. By attending this circle you will 1) relieve stress and anxiety; 2) find comfort and nourishment; 3) learn from and grow within your empowered sense of Self.
The Birth Passage Empowerment Group is aimed to specifically address the needs of mothers sustaining a family amidst the chaos and pressures of daily life. Held in a group council format, attendees follow a few guidelines for staying focused. Simple yet effective therapeutic tools encourage self-exploration and bonding. $20 suggested, registration requested.
