The Power of Song as an Instrument of Change: Chicago native and Cape Cod resident, David Roth brings his unique folksongs and stories to Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist's sanctuary (2 Duane Ct near MUHS) this Sunday Aug 28, 7 pm in an eclectic mix of personal and global considerations. Admission to the concert; $10, but no one will be turned away. David’s songs have been performed at Carnegie Hall, the UN, and the Kennedy Center. They appear in several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and on CD’s recorded by Peter, Paul & Mary, the Kingston Trio and more. A gifted story-teller as well as singer, David describes himself as “James Taylor meets Jon Stewart”!
