The City of Winooski, in partnership with the Winooski Coalition for a Safe and Peaceful Community and FRESH Food (an Enterprise of Vermont Works for Women) will be hosting a community dinner and open house for the O'Brien Community Center on Wednesday, October 16th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. In addition to a free community meal (prepared by Fresh Food in the O'Brien Center kitchen) visitors will be able to take a tour of the building, learn about the many great programs who call the O'Brien Center home, and enjoy music by Randy Argraves (from Winooski Middle/High School). We are also pleased to be welcome officers from the Winooski Police Department, who will be there to interact with community members and answer questions. It promises to be a really fun event for all ages, and we hope you'll consider coming (we also welcome folks to RSVP on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/219893101509408/). Questions? Please email Community Services Director Ray Coffey at rscoffey@winooskivt.org.
