This week, 211 first year students will be welcomed and oriented to southwest Vermont and Bennington College. On Saturday afternoon, from 4pm-6pm, the new students will be exploring the Village of North Bennington through a mapping scavenger hunt.

We are thrilled to introduce these new community members to the community beyond the campus gates as soon as possible, so that they gain a diverse sense of what it is to live, work, and play in southwest Vermont. Students will be moseying around the Village for about two hours, and mapping locations of past and present import to the development of North Bennington. Please feel free to introduce yourself and tell them about your favorite places in the area!
