The Mad River Valley Ambulance Service is offering a first aid class to anyone over the age of 12. First aid teaches critical skills to respond to an emergency until EMS arrives, including first aid actions for medical emergencies and skills for handling injuries and environmental emergencies. Don't be caught unprepared - the skills you learn will likely help a loved one or friend.

The class is free but if you would like the AHA certification card, there is a $5 fee. Class is held at the MRVAS ambulance building on Route 100 in Waitsfield from 9 am to 11:30. Please register by emailing cpr@mrvas.org or calling 496-8888.
