Don't miss out on this interesting class, sponsored by Island Arts. Birding expert Maeve Kim will explain why this time of year is called "Convergence" in the birding world. We will learn about the birds passing through our area on their migration south as well as learn about birds that stay here for the winter. The lecture portion of the class will be held on Thursday August 25 from 9-11 and a field trip will follow on Saturday August 27 from 7-9:30 at the Mud Creek Wildlife Management Area in Alburgh, one of the birding hot spots in this part of Vermont.
