October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join AWARE for a night of community discussion and remembrance on October 16th at 6pm at Hazen Union Auditorium. The panel discussion will address the following questions:

1) Do you think domestic violence is a problem in our community?

2) There were 5 domestic violence murders in VT in three months. Why do you think this happens?

3) What do you think would help to lessen the occurrence of domestic violence in our community?

The panel discussion will be followed by a candlelit walk to the park across the street from the Memorial Building for a silent vigil in honor of both victims and survivors.
