Hello! I am writing in response to the question about Welcome Signs! The Art House was awarded a grant from the UVM Center For Rural Studies in May to do two things. One to educate the community about safety & wellness through art and to hire Cori Jean Sanders to help upgrade welcome signs with the Craftsbury Academy woodshop (this will be starting this semester). We will also be hiring a teaching artist to teach art classes throughout the community, about what safety & wellness mean in Craftsbury. These classes and sign upgrades are completely paid for and would be an excellent resource for the community. The hope is that this project will generate ownership and safety for all in the community! We are glad to answer any questions and will be having an information meeting/talk about the project September 24th from 10 - 12 at The Masonic Hall.
