This Green Mountain Power and Efficiency Vermont project in the town of Panton continues to be very interesting. I turned up toward the end of the first meeting and couldn't find a seat - a full house. GMP and EV have another event planned. Here's their announcement:

Let’s all get together at the community BBQ hosted by Green Mountain Power and Efficiency Vermont as they work with us to transform our energy future! We will be the first town in VT to know our total energy use, cost and carbon so we can make energy and carbon-saving improvements and know what we are saving! The BBQ is Tuesday, August 23, 5-6:30 pm at the Mueller property, 2838 Jersey Street. See you there! There will be a press conference that day at 11:00 at Town Hall – so Panton will be making the news!
