For 78 years, since the late-1930s, the best early American buildings in Castleton have opened their distinguished interiors one-day-per-year for a ticketed tour. Tickets are a bargain at $20 for adults and $18 for guests age 62 and above.
Several buildings in the village of Castleton are included in "Buildings of Vermont" by Glenn M. Andres and Curtis B. Johnson.
