Think coloring is just for kids? It's not! Adult coloring is a new thing, and people with dementia enjoy it as much as anyone else.
Creative, communal coloring is the focus of our memory cafe this Saturday, Aug. 20, 10 a.m. to noon. We'll have conversation and music, too, to inspire us and stimulate some memories.
Free and open to everyone. 1197 North Ave., Burlington, Vermont, at the Thayer House, Garden Commons Room. Look for our signs. It's just north of the Hannaford's shopping plaza.
Plentiful parking and easy access. Lively, welcoming people. The Queen City Memory Cafe offers a special time for people with dementia and their care partners to socialize, feel understood, and to enjoy each other's company.
