Slate Etching Workshop

On Friday, October 18 the Castleton Community Center will host a Slate Etching Workshop from 1:00-2:30. Learn how to etch one of-a-kind designs in Vermont native slate to make attractive and useful items for yourself or for gifts. Stencils will be available or participants may bring their own design to transfer to a 6”x 6” slate that can be used as a hot plate or wall plaque. We also have 6X12 slates that can be used as welcome signs for your front door. Register by calling 468-3093. All materials will be provided. Workshop fee is $8.00
