Slow Money Vermont to host 3nd Annual Slow Money New England Regional Gathering September 9 and 10 at Shelburne Farms.

Local food entrepreneurs from across New England will share their stories. Chris Bailey, CEO of Vermont Smoke & Cure, will talk about how they raised capital while maintaining brand integrity, and Jolinda LaClair, Deputy Secretary—Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets will highlight ingredients of Vermont food system and Farm to Plate Network success. In-depth sessions will focus on Investing for the World We Want; Raising the Right Capital at the Right Time (for entrepreneurs); and Optimizing Collaboration among Food Systems Leaders & Catalysts.

Come learn more about what it means to invest local as a main street investor. On Friday afternoon, 9/9 you will hear Marco Vangelisti’s compelling story of his personal journey from conventional finance to regenerative investing.
