Don't forget to check with friends and neighbors to see if you can combine your loads of hazardous materials for Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District's Hazardous Waste Collection happening on Saturday, October 12, 9am - 1pm at the Department of Labor Parking Lot from 9 am - 1 pm. There is a fee of $15 per carload for district residents; the fee is higher for people not in this district. (see below for a list of CVSWMD member towns). To help lines go faster, and to save gas, time and your own money, please share a carload with friends and neighbors: the fee is the same no matter how many households are represented per car. Also please bring something to do in the car, as this is a large event and there may be a wait in line before we can serve you.
PLEASE NOTE: We do still take LATEX paint at hazardous waste collections, but you can also bring LIQUID LATEX PAINT to our Additional Recyclables Collection Center on any Monday or Friday afternoon for just $1.00 per carload.
