Medicine-Making (Infusion, Decoction, Tincture) 9:00-9:45am

Erica Koch, our local Naturopathic Doctor, Educator & Herbalist, will teach the basics of using plants from your garden, fields and forests to make medicine. We will discuss the best times to harvest and methods to extract medicinal properties from roots, leafs, flowers, and berries. We will make and share an herbal infusion. At 10-10:45am is our kids workshop on "Herbs, Art & Sun Tea". We will discuss several herbs growing in our backyard garden, draw our favorite plant, and then share some herbal sun tea that we make together. Owners -$ 4.00, Others -$ 6.00.
